  • One big thing that everyone can do if you’d like to help VAA is to sign on for membership for VAARetail. If you would consider doing all of your shopping from there (whether it be just your soap from Target, your anniversary gift from FTD, a new suit from Brookes Brothers, 200 Omaha Steak gift packs sent out in December to all of your best clients for the holidays, or anything from staplers and paper supplies for your student, right on up to a complete new computer system for your corporation) it’s easy when you put VAARetail in your bookmarks/favorites! It costs you no more (sometimes even less than if you walked into their shop) but 100% of all proceeds goes to the non-profit goals of VAA. There are over 450 merchants involved and every one of them gives a donation in your name to VAA with each purchase. If you did all of your shopping starting at VAARetail – you’d have a nice tax deduction at the end of the year and we’d have funding to help more victims. Please consider signing on – whether you ever do anything else for VAA - please send this info about VAARetail to everyone that you know: Especially corporate buyers. If 1 in 3 in the US have been a Victim of Identity Theft – let’s get 1 in 3 Americans shopping to help a victim! Tell them to go to: www.VictimsAssistanceofAmerica.org (It’s the green button on the home page!)
PLACING FAKE ID DETECTION MACHINES ACROSS US
[VAA INTEREST SUBMISSION FORM]
DETAILS: This is a Volunteer Position.($5/machine stipend available). . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . We are finding that Optimist Clubs, Rotary Groups, School Classes and other Organizations who like to help their community are taking this on as one of their projects. Not only do they help the security of the nation by helping with this project: We have secured $5/machine stipend for your group from the manufacturer for every machine that you place for VAA. Your group could use that money generated by helping VAA's mission to then further your own group's mission. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . You will contact Closing Attorneys,Mortgage Companies, Apartment Rental Companies, Lounges, Liquor Stores, Retail Establishments, Car Dealerships, Secure Buildings, Human Resource Departments, and any other establishment who needs to know who they are dealing with. . . . . . . . . . . . At this time, across the US, the airports and police cruisers have no way of detecting a fake ID. If a criminal or terrorist goes to the airport - they can board any plane in the US and fly to anywhere in the world that they'd like to by using a fake ID. We are in contact with the TSA at this time trying to help secure the needed machines for them by soliciting the nation for donations of the machines. . . . . . . . . While we work with the airports and police cruisers - we'd like our volunteers to make all of the other type companies listed above aware of the situation in the nation and ask those companies to buy machines for their business. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Identity theft is the nation's #1 and fastest growing crime in the US today. 1 in 4 have had a problem with identity theft. Let's help to flush out the criminals and terrorists who are blending right in with us by using innocent American's ID's and messing up their financial records for the good of the criminal or terrorist. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Now that machines of this nature are available - the quicker we can get the nation to recognize the need to place them wherever these terrorists and criminals live, work and shop - the quicker we can stamp out the nation's #1 crime. . . . . . . . . . . . . . SKILLS NEEDED: Working alone - or with a group of interested volunteers that you round up. Professionally contact business establishments listed above and not only make them aware of info posted at VAA website - but ask them to purchase the machines for use in their business. They are welcome to contact VAA for more info. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . You must dress professionally, speak and present self in a business-like manner. You must be able to get to the correct person with each organization who has the ability to make the decision about purchasing and using the machines. You will be setting appointments with these establishments to go in and explain what nationally VAA is trying to accomplish through the help of each individual organization. . . . . . . . . Having a comfort level with speaking with others is desirable. Having a mode of transportation to get to the appointments that you set up is also necessary. You can be located anywhere in the US. We need volunteers all across the country to help with this project. A sales background would also be helpful. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Just think - if your group places 1000 machines in Wal-Mart stores across the US - that's $5000 for your group to use for their mission! All retailers need this machine. Retailers lose a lot of money daily to ID theft. Let's put a stop to these thieves! You can help by spreading the word and getting these machines across the country where Identity Thefters work, live and shop. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . To apply for this volunteer opportunity - please fill in the requested info on the "info submission form" and in the comments section put that you'd like to volunteer on the US Fake ID Detection Project. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Thank you for your help with this most important project for our nation at this critical time in US history.
