VAA is in the process of opening 50 offices in 50 states. Once our offices
are in place we will have an 800 national number for victims to call in
on that will automatically route into their state’s office for help
from a VAA advocate.
We prefer that you contact us with an e-mail. Please do
give us a contact
phone number in your message with info about your problem and what has
been done so far. We can assign an advocate to contact you by phone.
If you prefer
to keep your contact by e-mail rather than phone – you will need to
give us enough information about your problem and what you have done
so far so that we know how to help specifically with your needs and can
assign
an advocate for you.
Hardly a day passes that VAA doesn’t get a message like the one below
from someone who wants to sell victims something to help them with their
problem. Our answer below is to one of those queries. It will give you a
little insight into what VAA does to help a victim, how we interact with
law enforcement and how proud we are to be here to help victims of Identity
Theft. VAA also works aggressively on the prevention of ID Theft on a state
by state basis for the nation. We are the nation’s only national 501-c-3
addressing the credit side of ID Theft.
