has been a phenomenal volunteer! We had a project of contacting celebrities
to see if someone better known than any of us would like to be our
president and spokesperson to give better recognition to our organization
more quickly so that the nation knew where to go when they had an
Identity Theft problem: the nation’s #1 and fastest growing crime.
Lauren
dedicated time to our cause and worked tirelessly in between band
camp and dealing with her little brother! She had
a friend named
Lauren
who was going to help her (We called them “Lauren & Lauren!”:-)
Unfortunately her good friend got sick and our very own Lauren continued
on alone. She did a fantastic job for us and we want to be sure she
knows how we feel – so we thought we’d post it for everyone
to see. If you know Lauren: Tell her “Way to go Lauren!” and
Thank her for us for all of the work that she’s done for
VAA!
We can’t tell you about our celebrity. If interested – every
one of them said the same thing: His/Her calendar was booked two years
out before being able to consider taking us on! So – We’ve
decided we’ll just wait! (What’s a few years: when you
want someone dedicated to our cause and interested in our mission!?)

So, hopefully (before Lauren becomes an old woman)- We’ll have
someone you know and love step up to the bar for us, join with VAA,
be our president
and spokesperson and we’ll be able to thank it all to our one and
only: Lauren Slemenda and her dedicated volunteer project of contacting
celebrities! Lauren: If your kids are like ours they’re never gonna
believe you years from now when you point out that celebrity and explain
how you’re the one who set that all up! Just have em call us – we’ll
vouch for your story!:-)
