ID THEFT VICTIM STORY hi well where do i start,i 'm a 19 year old student in the big apple. i was living in the dorms when i started getting credit card and store card statments for cards i didn't own. i rang up the the various places and informed the police. a few days later the police asked me to veiw a store video and i couldnt belive it the girl on the film looked like me.I have my own style im sort of gothic long black and purple hair white face etc the sort of girl ur told to stay away from. the girl on film had long dark hair white face same style clothes and wearing the same sunglasses. the girl in the video handed over a store card and signed my name and then she smiled thats when i reconised the smile. it was the same smile of the girl who lived opposite me in the dorms. she had used a copy of my key to borrow my clothes and use my make up and had bought a long dark wig and had purple hair extensions in it. she had been poseing as me for months first stealin books then moving up to credit cards. she was arrested and got 12 months. i dont live in the dorms now i live with my mom its safer
